The Skullerz 8975 Type 1 Safety Helmet is designed to provide lightweight and comfortable head protection, meeting the requirements of various safety standards. This Class C Safety Helmet features a 6-Point Suspension system and is engineered to shield the wearer's head from falls, dropped objects, and bumping into stationary objects.

The compact helmet design increases all-over impact protection and improves visibility, while a chin strap ensures the helmet remains secure to the wearer's head upon impact or sudden movement. The increased coverage of this safety helmet meets the side-impact testing requirements of EN12492: 2012 4.2.1.2, 4.2.1.3, and 4.2.1.4. Additionally, the helmet meets the standard Class C helmet requirements for ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014, CSA Z94.1-15, Type 1, Class C.

The breathable design of the Skullerz 8975 Safety Helmet features a smaller, low-profile brim, which improves the wearer's field of vision. The interior is lined with a padded, moisture-wicking, and odor-resistant sweatband and top pad, which are removable for easy replacement. The helmet is made of 100% Polyester and is imported.

The Skullerz 8975 Safety Helmet offers additional impact protection through its suspension and shell design, which is compliant with EN12492 side impact testing requirements. The included chin strap secures the helmet in place upon falling or sudden impact/movement, meeting the design, strength, and effectiveness requirements of EN12492.

The helmet is designed to fit most heads, with hat sizes ranging from 6.5 to 8 (21in - 25in / 53cm - 63.5cm). It has been tested and meets the following safety standards: ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014, CSA Z94.1-15, TYPE 1, Class C, EN12492:2012 4.2.1.2, 4.2.1.3, 4.2.1.4, 4.2.2, 4.2.3, 4.2.4, and EN397:2012+A1:2012 5.2.1, 5.2.4, 5.2.5.

For all-day comfort, the Skullerz 8975 Safety Helmet includes a removable hard hat sweatband and top pad made of breathable, sweat-wicking, and odor-resistant materials that are machine washable. The helmet also features integrated patent-pending headlamp slots on the front and rear, allowing for the use of the Skullerz Hard Hat LED Light (available as an accessory or with the 8975LED model). This feature enhances safety and visibility at night.

The compact shell design of the Skullerz 8975 Safety Helmet increases the wearer's visibility, particularly when looking up, providing an enhanced field of vision.
